DeleteThis book never ends! I can not believe some people (old-er ladies at BSF) read through the Bible every year. I feel like we can barely stay afloat. I can't believe the one homeschooling blog I read that they read the Bible every 90 days. Are these people insane?
We are also reading Ramona Quimby, Age 8. Love it! Switching back and forth is probably what is keeping me sane.
Did you notice that Jacob kissed his father as he lied to him about who he was and Judas kissed Jesus as he betrayed Him? I thought that was interesting as I read both chapters in the same day, one for BSF and one for our reading.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine reading through the Bible every 90 days. I'm struggling as it is. I started Numbers last night. So, I'm about 8 chapters behind where I should be.
Plus, question 5c in BSF almost derailed me. I went over it quickly and have been trying not to think about it to much. But, my leader called today and I know it, among other things, will come up when I call her back.
Oh they did kiss them didn't they? It didn't seem super significant to me at the time but more cultural. We don't tend to kiss people in our culture.
DeleteOh my gosh, what did you answer for 5c? I was trying to think of what I say are "good reasons" for my non-Christian behavior. I make excuses not to change.
